Save money on your purchases can be great when you’re looking to use a credit card. Unfortunately, with the new credit card ACT, you’re going to find that most companies are going to scale back. Does this mean we will never see rewards again? No! We will see them sooner or later as the free market plays it course. This is why competition is always good, but in the meantime, rewards will always be out there, and let’s take a look at what kind of rewards you can get.
Gas rewards: Every time you fill up at the pump, you can save some cash. Save as much as 1-10% per gallon. These cards will generally reward you solely for using your card at the pump only.
Cash back: Cash back is my favorite, and this goes for others as well. The concept is fairly simple, where you’ll get cash back for every purchase you make. These rewards will vary card by card.
Hotel rewards: Just like the gas rewards, you’ll get rewarded every time you use it at a hotel. Some only reward you at particular chains, while the others reward you for any stay.
Airline miles: Airline cards are great for those that travel. Get rewards every time you take the blue skies. Earn enough points to cash them in for rental cars, hotel rooms, and free flights.
These are the four main reward categories when you’re looking to save in a particular category. Some of these cards will allow you to save on everything, while others will let you save on just one category. Start your search today, and find out which card best suits you!
