Making a profit with credit cardsCredit cards are loved and hated by so many people in this world.  If you don’t know how to use them and you have debt, you hate them.  Those people then tell everyone else that they suck simply because they think everyone else thinks like them.  This isn’t the case people!!  Credit cards are only bad for the people that don’t know how to manage them.  Yes, there are actually people out there that are disciplined enough to use a credit card.  I know it’s hard to believe but there are millions of us.

If you’re one of the millions that do know how to manage their credit card, I’m going to show you some simple tips that you can use in order to profit with your credit card.  Make sure you read these tips closely because the littlest screw up can screw over your profits.

Get a program you like.  All credit card programs are different.  You’ll want to find a program that allows you to benefit the most.  If you spend a lot of money at the grocery store, then find a card that will give you the most back at the grocery store.  If you generally spend all your money in every other place imaginable, then you’ll want a card that gives you cash back everywhere.

Look for 0% offers.  There used to be a ton of 0% intro rate offers but they have seemed to wash away for now.   You can still find them but it’s a little harder than before.  What I suggest to you is that you find a 0% intro offer.  That way, you won’t have to pay your card off in full in order to avoid the interest rates.

Use it for all your spending.  Remember, you have to be good with your credit card.  The next thing you’ll want to do is do all your spending with your credit card.  If you have a card that gives you 5% back, you’ll get that back on your purchases.  This is a lot better than using cash or a credit card that doesn’t have any rewards at all.  So, let’s say you spend $2,000 in a given month, you’re going to get $100 back.

The process sounds easy and it is.  It only takes discipline from yourself.  If you have a 0% intro rate fora  few months, that’s great.  If you don’t, make sure you always pay the card off in full!  If you fail to do this, you’re going to be paying interest and it will offset your cash back benefits and you won’t profit.  In the meantime, find a great card, use it right and profits will come your way.
