Friends and family coupons are a great way to save a lot of money.  What I had found out is that if you can take advantage of a coupon such as these, you can save a lot of money!

What is a friends and family coupon?

This is generally discount that you’re going to get when you know someone that works at a particular store.  For example, let’s say that you have a friend who works at XYZ Clothing.  Well, on occasions, the management may hand out coupons, or codes that they can in turn hand out to friends and family.  You can then get a certain percentage off, a free gift or more.  It’s all going to depend on the store.

Where can I find one?

Ask somebody – If you know of a lot of friends and family, you’re going to ask where they work.  Generally, your younger adults are going to hold retail jobs where they are going to get offers like this.  If they work in an office setting, you will find that you more than likely won’t get a great deal.

Search online - The Internet is filled with a lot of information.  What you’re going to find is that you may find coupons or codes that  may leak online.  This is a great way to take advantage.  You’re going to want to make sure that you get one that isn’t fraudulent.

Search forums - Go to deal forums such as Slick Deals.  These are great forums where people will post deals on a daily basis.  While many of the deals online aren’t made for friends and families, I have found some deals that pop up here and there.

You may be able to get one yourself – Some companies will always consider you a friend and hold a sale for basically everyone.  Yes, while it can be rather misleading, it’s a great way to take advantage of a sale.  What I’m trying to say is that you don’t have to necessarily find a deal, when it can be right in your face.

Try out these tips to see what kind of deals you can find.  Friends and family sales are always the best to take advantage of.  If you can get a friend to help you out, it’s a great way to save some serious money.
