Everyone loves to go to the movies, but what many of us hate doing is paying that outrageous $10 ticket price on weekends.  Let’s face it.  Movie tickets are getting out of hand and unless you want to get a $1 Redbox rental, you’re going to be forced into these prices.

I wanted to give you a few steps that you can take in order to save on your next movie ticket.  You’re going to find that if you plan ahead, you can save some decent money!

#1 Show your student ID - Many movie theaters today will allow you to show your student ID.  By showing your ID, you’re going to find that you can get a smaller discount.  This is a great way to save.

#2  Use your AAA discount - If you don’t have an AAA membership, that’s okay, but if you have one, try and use it.  Many bigger movie chains will accept it.

#3 Get the Entertainment Book - The Entertainment Book is amazing.  It is packed full with so many coupons.  My local area has tons of twilight coupons that I can use, where I only pay $5 for my ticket.

#4 Skip the weekends - You don’t have to go on a Friday or Saturday.  Instead, try going on a Tuesday or even  Wednesday.  These are usually the cheapest days to go.

#5 Sign up for a card - Just about every movie theater today has a movie goers card.  This is a great thing to sign up for.  The more you go, the more you’re going to get in return.

As you can see, there are a few tips that you can use, if you’re looking to save on your next movie ticket.  You can always try to find coupon codes for major movie ticket sites, but you’re going to find that it doesn’t always work.

Test out the tips above and see how much you can save on your next movie date!
