Look for promotions in the area

You are usually going to have to be within the park radius to find these deals. So, for example, let’s say you want to go to Cedar Point in Ohio. You will most likely have to be within 150 miles of the park to find deals.

You will want to check the following places for some deals…

Grocery stores
Restaurants
Retail Shops

Buy from a discount broker

Go online and find a third party or maybe you can find someone else that can give you the tickets at a discounted rate. When you do this route, you will want to make sure that you’re dealing with someone that is legit. The last thing that you want to do is deal with someone that is going to rip you off.

Test your luck with eBay

Yes, you can find tickets on this giant auction site, as well as coupons. It’s a great way to save money. If you’re going to do this, you’re going to want to give yourself some time because it may take 1-2 weeks for the tickets and coupons to show up in your mailbox.

Consider the season pass

If you’re going to go more than 1-2 times in a year, I would highly recommend a season pass. A lot of people tend to think that this route is going to be expensive, but it really isn’t! You’re going to find that it’s going to cost you 2-3 trips at most. If you go more than 3 times, you will definitely get your money worth.

By following these tips, you should have to pay full price. I can promise you on this one. Do your homework and there shouldn’t be any reason why you can’t save at least 20%+
