Cash back shopping is the trend amongst shoppers today. The economy has caused many people to use this method of shopping in order to control their budget and survive with enough food and clothes in the household. The many merchants realize this and that is why they are trying drastically to help the failing economy with coupons, rebates and other methods that help the consumer. The consumer is what keeps the merchants in business so by providing a means for them to get a little cash back while shopping is helping the merchant to stay in business.
Most merchants feel that instead of lowering the price on the product that is they offer the item on sale, coupon special or rebate the customer will be more inclined to shop with them. The manufacturer also knows that unless the merchant can move the item off the shelf that he will not be making any orders for more products that is why the manufacturer is selling the product at a cheaper rate. The problem arises when the manufacturer has to sell the product at cost. If there is no profit to be made then soon the factory will have to close its doors. This is one of the things that you see in a failing economy. When the manufacturer no longer makes a profit and stops making the product then you see the merchant no longer has a product to offer the consumer.
The problem in this failing economy is when the merchant no longer is making a profit then the business has to close and we are seeing many stores close their doors. The customer suffers because they lost their jobs and are no longer able to buy the products at regular price which causes a boomerang effect that hurts industry. Cash back shopping helps many people in a time of crisis with a failing economy. It is just a bandage on a serious wound that needs more than bargains, rebates, and cash refunds. The new stimulus package that the president is offering the nation we all hope will help to heal up our ailing economy and start the machinery of progress to rolling again. This will be the only real method that will put money in the consumers pocket as they go shopping. When the consumer has employment and can shop paying out the real cost of item then cash back will no longer be a necessity but a pleasure. That is what all Americans prefer when they are doing their “cash back shopping” for the household.
