Whether you’re planning a trip in the near future, or maybe you just want to save on rental car in your local area. I wanted to show you how I save when I’m ready to make a reservation for my rental car. You’re going to find that there are so many ways to save, it’s going to make your head spin.
#1 Start with eBay: If you know the car rental company that you want to rent with, that’s great. Even if you don’t, you can search for “car rental coupons” on eBay and see what comes up. Just make sure that these coupons are legit, and unique. Some sellers will post coupon codes that you can find somewhere else for free.
#2 Search for a code: I love the Internet because I look back a few years ago and wonder how the heck people were able to save without all of this information. Let’s say that you want to rent from Enterprise. Do a recent results search and see what comes up in terms of savings. You can then, hopefully input the code at check out and save money. It’s always best to reserve your car online, rather than over the phone or in person.
#3 Get cash back: Did you know that there are sites out there such as Bank of America’s AdditUp, or FatWallet? These are great sites that you can take advantage of when you’re looking to get even more back on your purchase.
How does it work?
The merchants will join up with these websites. They will say give the website 6% of the sale. They will turn around and give you 4%. Each site is going to be different. The only thing that you have to do is create an account, and make sure that you shop through them to save.
