Contacts can be awfully expensive and what I have found out is that if you purchase your contacts after you see your optometrist, you’re going to be paying top dollar at those places.  This is why its always important that you wait it out, get a prescription, and try to go to a cheaper place such as 1800contacts, or  even a place like Walmart.

If you find yourself wanting to purchase your contacts online at a place such as 1800contacts, you’re going to need a prescription first before you make a purchase.  Under no circumstances are you going to be able to purchase them without one.

Now if you want to save even more on top of your purchase, I wanted to give you some pointers on how you can throw a coupon on top of it to save even more money.

#1 You may not need a coupon – Sometimes, you can take advantage of a sale.  For example, I’m looking at the deals right now and if you spend more than $50, you’re going to get free shipping.

#2 Can’t be the price - 1800contacts will promise you that no price will be beat.  If you find a place that is willing to sell the contacts at a cheaper price, you can get a price match.

#3 Search for a coupon code - Since this is an online only venture, you’re only going to be able to find coupon codes.  Search the web, as the coupon codes are going to be different all the time.  What you’re going to find out is that if you use bigger sites such as RetailMeNot and more, you should be able to find something that is up to date.

#4 Look out for offers - If you’re a current customer, be sure to check out your mailbox because what you’re going to find out is that you can get deals since you’re a previous customer.  If you’re not a previous customer, make a purchase and keep your eyes peeled for the future.

By following these 4 steps, you should be able to save a few extra bucks.  If you can’t find a coupon code, don’t worry as these things change all the time on a daily basis.

Going on a vacation with your family, yourself, or even some friends can get awfully expensive.  If you don’t know where to turn to find a deal online, you’re going to find that you may be paying a lot more than you should.

If you look at an airline ticket alone, you’re probably going to drop $250+ per person.  After that, you’re going to have to throw in your rental car, hotel, and more.  Its no wonder why people tend to camp at a campground rather than stay at a hotel!

If you’re looking to find an all inclusive vacation package, I wanted to showcase some sites that you can look into when you’re looking to get a deal that is going to include everything from your hotel room to your food.  All you need to bring is yourself.

  • Priceline: Believe it or not, this website has a ton of deals that you can take advantage of.  When you head to their site, check out the, “vacation” tab at the top.  If you browse through those, you can find everything from a complete package to a hotel room complete with all your meals and sometimes even more.
  • Travelzoo: If you don’t care where you’re going to go, I prefer Travelzoo.  Every Wednesday, they will showcase the top vacation destinations that cost next to nothing.  Many of the packages on this site offer the food, spa packages, and more.
  • Fatwallet: Fatwallet has a fantastic forum where you scour out deals.  What you’re going to want to do is check out the travel hot deals forum.  Many members tend to post some of the best all inclusive spots for specific destinations.  If you have an idea on where you want to go, you can just search it.
  • Trip Advisor: The last one on my list is Trip Advisor.  The reason I like this site so much is because I’m able to search out reviews on particular hotels.  The last thing that you want to do is get excited for your vacation, show up at the hotel, and find out that the room is dirty.  This site is going to help you prevent things such as this.

There are a lot more sites that can help you find a bargain with all inclusive deals.  When you’re looking to find a deal, I would recommend that check out both the all inclusive vacation packages, as well as the traditional ones.

Everyone likes a deal, right?  Well, with the Internet, it gives you the power to find all the deals that you want.  No longer do you have to get a deal word of mouth or via some guy down the road.  If you want to find a deal, I wanted to show you some sites that I use in order to find them.

Hopefully, out of these 10, you should be able to find a few of your favorites that you can bookmark for future reference.

#1 Google Products: This is on the top of my list.  What you can do is input what you want to purchase and it will come back with the cheapest price.  Let’s say you want to buy a Xbox 360.  Just input that information and it will come back with the store and price.

#2 Price Grabber: Just like Google, you can get a lot of prices from various retailers.  The selection isn’t always the best, but you can find some good deals here on occasions.

#3 Fatwallet: I love this site just on the forums alone.  No matter what kind of deal that you want to find, you can get it on the forums.  Just scope out the forum and see what kind of deals that you can find.

#4 Slick Deals: This one is just like Fatwallet.  It has a great forum packed with deals, coupons, and more.  You can find a deal for just about anything that you want.

#5 RetailMetNot: This is a great collection of hot deals, as well as coupon codes that you can take advantage of.  They literally have a coupon code for just about any store that you can think of.

#6 Buxr: This is a website that kind of sits underneath the radar.  What I have quickly found out is that this is one of my favorites when it comes to the top coupons for the week.

#7 DealNews: Another site kind of like Buxr and more.  You can get the latest and greatest deals on the web today.  Its a great place to find both hot deals and coupons.

#8 Woot: This is kind of unique because if you haven’t been to Woot before, you’re going to find that they list one hot item a day.  Sometimes you may need, while other days you may think its junk!

As you can see, the website list is rather large and should keep you busy for a while.  Just make sure that you’re not spending too much money when you start heading to them!

When you’re ready to head out and purchase some clothing, you may find that you don’t want to spend full price and I don’t blame you!  I honestly can’t remember the last time I went out and paid full price for a pair of clothes.  It just isn’t worth it to me when I can find a coupon.

I wanted to give you some steps that I take when I’m looking to save with clothing.  It really isn’t that hard and you’re going to find that its only going to take a few minutes of your time.

#1  Sign up for the email list - Sign up for the clothing companies email list.  By doing so, they are going to send you coupons, sale dates, as well as more.  Its a great way for them to alert you, rather than have you search out what you want.

#2 Be social with the networks – Just like the email lists, another great way to connect with the companies that you love is by Facebook, Twitter, and more.  You’re going to find that many companies use that technique today.

#3 Search for coupon codes - I know many of you don’t like to shop for clothes online and I don’t blame you.  You’re going to find that you can save a good amount of money by shopping online and applying coupon codes to your order.

#4 Buy your coupons on eBay - Yes, when you purchase coupons on eBay, it may sound like a stupid idea but you can save a lot of money.  For example, I was able to get a 40% off coupon the other day for $5.  That 40% off coupon then saved me about $40 on my $100 sale!

#5 Search for printable coupons - Just like the coupon codes, you can find some printable coupons online as well.  Try your recent results search on Google or if you’re not having luck with that, you can check out message boards as well.

#6 Head to the outlet centers - Sometimes you don’t even need a coupon to save money.  Your outlet centers can save you a ton of money alone.  On top of it, you can also find coupons on top of your outlet center purchase.  Its a win-win situation for all!

Clothing doesn’t have to set you back $55 a shirt.  Instead, if you follow some of these tips listed above, you’re going to find that you can potentially get that same shirt for $15!

Desktop computers today really aren’t that expensive.  Back in the day around 5-7 years ago, you could have easily spent $1,000 on a decent desktop.  Today, that $1,000 can give you the best computer on the block!  If you’re in the market to find a new computer, I wanted to show you the steps that I take to find the best deal.

The first thing that you want to do is know what kind of computer that you want.  If you don’t know, that’s okay, but make sure that you’re not just buying the cheapest computer out there, because you may get what you pay for.  You will want to compare specifications, what you get with the deal and more.  Basically, the more informed you are, the better it is for you.

#1 Search out message boards: Places like Fatwallet have a great forum that you can check out when you’re looking for some great deals.  What users will do is scour the web for some of the best deals online.  Since these really aren’t biased opinions, you can find some killer deals on occasions.

#2 Shop as usual: If you shop as usual, you will find that you can get a deal on your own.  Shop with major retailers online such as Amazon, Buy.com, and more.  When you find something that you may want to purchase, see if you can find a coupon code on top of it.

#3 Try and get cash back: There are some cool sites out there such as Ebates that will allow you to get cash back on your purchases.  What you’re going to do is click a special link that takes you to a retailer.  When you make your purchase, a place like Ebates is going to give you a certain percentage back on your purchase.

#4 Search the main retailers: Places like Dell always have coupon codes as well as packages that you can purchase.  For example, there are times, for example, where you can get a free printer or monitor when you purchase a particular brand.  This is a great opportunity to take advantage of, since they have deals like this all the time.

#5 Head to eBay: Who says that you have to shop through a retailer or even buy new?  I have purchased older computers in the past and had great luck with them.  When I purchased them on eBay, I was able to save 60% half the time.  Just make sure that you’re dealing with a legitimate seller!

Now you can tell that it really isn’t that hard!  What you’re going to find out is that when you follow these tips, you’re going to be able to save on your next computer purchase.
