Ah, the lovely thing that most of us love to hate.  The great game of insurance, where most of us pile loads of money into the system each and every year, and most of us don’t even make a claim!  You have to go figure on that one.

When it comes to insurance, most of us don’t want to pay for it, but it’s stupid not to have it.  It makes sense to pay a hundred dollars or so each and every month to insure your valuable $20,000 car.  Yes, I think insurance is gambling, but a good gamble to say the least.

Saving on insurance can be done, but you need to know how to do it, and I’m going to give you a few little pointers on how you can get cash back on your insurance bills each and every month.

Try to combine all of your insurance

If you can, try and combine as many of your policies into one company as possible.  This includes your home, auto, boat, or whatever you might have insured.  The more you have with the company, the more you’re going to save in terms of your total rate.  Plus, it doesn’t hurt to have a good record, as well as being older in age.

Use your cash back card on your bills

The cool thing about cash back credit cards is that you’re able to use it on just about anything.  Many of the cards out there will enable you to get a percentage back on just about anything, including insurance.   Even if you’re able to save 1-5% off your bill each and every month, you can save a few extra dollars every year.  It will all add up!

Get new quotes each and every year

You may think you have a great today, but rates change each and every year.  Make it a habit to check your rates each year.  Call up or check online with at least 5-10 other companies.  You may be surprised at how much each company varies.  It never hurts to do your homework.

Try some of these tips if you’re looking to get cash back on your insurance.  Since many of us pay these bills each and every month, it’s always great to save money.  By saving money, this allows you to put toward an early retirement, or a future vacation.

Everyone that’s reading this right now has probably grocery shopped in their lifetime.  Whether you do it every week, or you do it once in a while, you have to do it if you have a family, because how else are you supposed to survive?

What if I told you that there was a way to get cash back on every grocery store purchase that you make?  Wouldn’t it be cool if you could save anywhere from 1 – 25% off your total bill?  It may sound too good to be true, but I will show you exactly on how it works.

The cash back credit card for groceries

If you know how to properly use a credit card, then this process is for you.  Before we even start, you have to remember this one tip.  You must pay off your card in full each and every month to take advantage of the savings.  If you don’t, you’ll find that the interest rates are going to be higher than your rewards.

How do I find a card?

With so many reward credit cards out there, I know it’s hard to find a card that you want.  If you’re looking for one to help you save when it comes to grocery shopping, you’ll have to look for the following things.

Make sure that it offers the reward:  When you’re looking at the application, make sure that the card offers rewards on grocery store purchases.  All cards that offer the reward will show it on the application before you even apply.  It’s important that you look for this.

Make sure it has a good rebate:  You don’t want a  lousy card with a cap limit or one that gives you back 1%.  You can do a lot better than this.  Browse and compare at least three cards on the market.  A good card to me is one that doesn’t limit you and gives you back at least 3%.

No annual fee:  A good reward credit card isn’t going to have any sort of fees.  Make sure that the card you’re applying for has no fees, which includes the annual fee.  If you didn’t know already, the annual fee is a fee that you have to pay yearly regardless.

When searching for that card for cash back with your grocery shopping, keep these following tips in mind.  It’s going to make the process a lot easier for you.  Once you find that card, apply for it, and make sure you use it every time you grocery shop!

Getting cash back while shoppingGetting money back on your purchases is the name of the game when it comes to online shopping.  Thankfully, with the Internet, it’s extremely easy to get cash back with just about all of the shopping you do.  How does it work and how can you do it?  Let me show you how it’s done.

Pick out a cash back shopping site

There are a lot of cash back shopping websites out there.  The websites that I tend to use are FatWallet.com and Bank of America’s AddItUp.  AddItUp is fairly new, but the thing I like about their cash back system is that they place the money directly into your checking or savings account.  Obviously, there are more sites than that online.  Do a quick search for “cash back shopping”, and this should bring up a few sites you may want to check out.

Find your favorite retailer

Not every store you can think of is going to offer cash back, but there are a pretty good handful out there that do.  It’s your job to find what you’re looking for.  Once you find something in particular, see if that store offers cash back.  It’s a win-win situation if you’re able to get something on sale and cash back at the same time.

Make sure you make purchases through that site

When you pick out a site that you like, you’ll want to make sure you make your purchases through that website.  The reason you want to do this is because they will track your purchase.  When you purchase something, you’ll be able to get a credit placed into your account.  The rebate you get back will all depend on the site you use.

As long as you use some of the sites mentioned above and you always make your purchase through their store front, you can save a lot of money.  Some retailers will give you as much as 25%.  While that it on the high end, you can always expect to get at least 1-3% off.

For those of you out there that love to save money on just about everything you buy, did you know that you can get cash back when it comes to purchasing on Ebay?  I know many of you guys reading this post have bought something off Ebay before.   It’s a great auction site that lists just about anything for a very reasonable price.  I think it’s always best to buy used, rather than new just for the savings alone.

Now, you’re probably wondering how the cash back works with Ebay and I”m here to explain how it works and how you can take advantage with the deals.

Head to the cash back search engine

The first step that you want to take is by heading on over to MSN’s cash back search engine.  Here, you’re going to be able to search for the product that you want.  Let’s say that you’re looking for an Apple Ipod.  You’ll put this in the search, and it will tell you how much you’ll get back as a cash back bonus.

Search for your product

Once you input on what you’re searching for, you’ll get a list of everything that’s available.  Since, there are more than one Ipod version, it’s going to come back with a handful of results.  Now, it’s your job to look at all the products to see which one that you want.  Keep in mind that the cash back rebate will be listed next to it.  You’ll also find that many other stores are going to give you cash back as well.

Do the shopping

Once you find what you’re looking for, you’ll want to buy through that particular link.  After 30-60 days, you’ll have the balance pop up in your account.  You’ll have to sign up using your e-mail.  Once your balance reaches $5, you’ll be able to claim it.

Remember that you’re going to be able to save with more than just Ebay.  While Ebay is a great way to save, you’re going to be able to save with so many other vendors as well.  Be sure to look at some of the places you can shop, and how much you can actually save.
