With so many people looking for a car, but not wanting to buy one because of job security, etc, it’s always nice to know that there are cash back opportunities out there when it comes down to purchasing a brand new vehicle.  In fact, many experts will tell you today that it is the best time to buy anything big, because you’re going to get a steal.

From a home to a new car, it’s time to go out there, and if you can afford to buy a new car, I would recommend you look into seriously considering one right now.  I wanted to give you some tips on how you can get cash back on your Toyota.

Check for dealer incentives - The first place I would start would simply be by heading to your dealer, or asking them on the phone.  Ask them what kind of cash back rewards you can get when purchasing your car?  Can you get anything in return?  Are there are any incentives?  Be sure to check with 2-3 dealers in your area.

Use a cash back credit cardWhen you think of a credit card, you probably think of making small purchases, but with a cash back card, you can really take advantages of the rewards, and here’s what I do with it.

When I’m about to make a purchase for a car, I make sure I have the cash on hand, but I’ll use a credit card instead with rewards.  Let’s say that card gives me 3% back on my purchase.  If I buy the car for $15,000, I’m going to get $450 back just for using my card!  Now, when my balance comes in the mail, I pay it off in full, and pay no interest rate charges.

These are really the only ways that you can find out how to get cash back.  If you’re looking for a deal on your next Toyota purchase, I would recommend you try some of these techniques mentioned above.

With the power of the Internet, you’re now able to get cash back on just about anything you purchase online.  Back in the day, we had to save up coupons, and find the things we need.  Now, we can just hop on our computer, click a button a few times, and save money.

Saving money online isn’t hard, as long as you know where to go.  I’ve compiled a list of my favorite cash back sites when it comes to getting cash back on my purchases.  Always remember that you need to buy through these sites in order to get your cash back.

FatWallet.comFW is one of my favorite sites when it comes to getting cash back.  Simply create an account, find a store that you want to get cash back with, and make your purchase.  After a few weeks, you’ll see your credit placed in your account.  The only downfall to FW is that they have a minimum claim.

Live CashBack - MSN is another great and reputable service, when you’re looking for cash back.  You’ll find with some of these cash back sites that you’re getting ripped off, and they never pay.  With a service like MSN, it works just like FW.  Just create an account, look for a store that you want to use, and shop!

Ebates - Ebates is probably one of the oldest sites on the Internet when it comes to getting cash back from your shopping.  Creating an account is free and easy.  When you create your account, find a store once again, and shop away.

When looking at these sites, I always like to bounce between a few of them to see who offers the most in terms of cash back.  You’ll find with one retailer that they offer more than another.  This is why it’s always important to compare.  The next time you shop online, make sure you get your cash back!

If you’re in the market to find a prepaid credit card, you may want to look into ones that have rewards, such as cash back.   Do they exist out there?  They sure do.  But first, I want to show you the perks, and advantages that you can take ahold of when you look for a prepaid card.

The advantages of a prepaid credit card:

Control your spending: If you’re having a hard time controlling your spending, when it comes down to a credit card, you may want to look into getting a prepaid card.  The reason you’ll be able to control your spending is because you’ll be able to use your card like a gift card.  You’ll have to put money on it, and you’re only allowed to spend what you have on the card.

Just like a regular card: Many people have the misconception that a prepaid card works differently than a regular card.  This couldn’t be further from the truth.  As long as it has the major logo from Visa, MasterCard, etc, you’ll be able to use it anywhere.  The only difference is that you’ll need to supply the banks with the money first, before you start.

You can still get rewards: Here’s the part you have been waiting for, the rewards.  Yes, you can still get great rewards when it’s time to apply for a prepaid card.  The most common reward that you’ll find out is that some banks will give you interest on your deposit.  Instead of having it sit there, and you don’t get anything, you can get interest on your money instead.

When it’s time to find a prepaid card that suits your needs, look for one that gives you rewards, has a low fee rate (if any at all), and one that you think will work best for your own personal spending.  As long as you follow these three golden rules, you should find a card that works for you.

If you’re in the market for a credit card, you may have heard of the term “cash back.”  While it can be a simple term, I wanted to go into detail on how it works, and how it can benefit you and your wallet, when it comes to saving.

A cash back credit card is no different that your simple credit card.  You’re going to be able to use it at stores, get a statement in the mail, etc.  The only difference you’re going to see is that you’re going to get cash back for every purchase that you make.

How does cash back work?

Cash back works in a very simple way.  Depending on what company you sign up with, their cash back system is going to vary, but let’s use an example of a cash back situation.

Let’s say your card X gives you 3% cash back on groceries, gas, and anything automotive.  Card X will give you 1% back on all of your other purchases.

Now, let’s say for the month of May, you spend $1,000 in groceries, gas, and auto repairs.  You spend $1,000 on everything else.  According to our formula above, the credit card will give you $40 back.  This will most likely come in a form of a credit statement, but remember, all companies work differently.

Now, besides credit cards, there are other ways in getting cash back, such as cash back shopping.  Just like a credit card, you’re just going to get a rebate instead.  So, for example, say you sign up for a website that gives you 5% cash back at store XYZ.  Every time you make a purchase, they give you 5% back, so if you spend $100, they would give you $5 back into your account.  This would have the same concept, but you would do your shopping through a retailer, rather than your credit card.

Cash back can be done in two major ways, as mentioned above.  You can get it through your credit card, and other sites.  Hopefully by now, you have a better idea on how it works.  Research it, and learn how you can use cash back to your advantage.

So, you found a cash back credit card that you truly enjoy.  With so many out there on the market, some of them seem too good to be true.  While many of them take you for rides when it comes down to hidden fees, a lot of the major companies do have legitimate cards

When it comes down to the hidden fees and limits on a cash back card, there are some things that you should look before you fill out that application.  As you know, the credit card companies are in the game to make money.  This shouldn’t be a shocker to you or I.  I want to break down a few fees that you should look out for when it comes limits, etc.

Annual fee:  When it comes to getting cash back, I don’t want to pay any fees.  This includes my annual fee.  If I have to pay an annual fee to get rewards, it just isn’t worth it to me.  Always make sure you look out for this before you apply.

Cash back limit:  Some cash back cards may sound great, but they are going to have a limit.  What does this mean to you?  It means that you can only get so much back.  For example, you may find that one company will only allow you to get back $500 a year in rebates.  Always look for a card that doesn’t have these limits.

Not getting cash back:  Some cards may look like a cash back card, but instead, you get points.  Why is this bad for you?  For starters, you’re not going to get cash back in your pockets.  Instead, you’ll get points that can be used on a lot of useless things if you’re not careful.

When it comes to your limits, and cash back fees, these are the main three that I would look out for when it comes to applying for a card.  As long as you do this, you should be fine at picking out the best card on the market.
